During the use of our website, we do collect some data your browser sends automatically to us. Our web server collects log files which keep track of the following content:
Our webpage utilizes a font which is provided by Google. However we host this font on our server as we do with all style sheets (css) and icon sets we use. Thus no third party servers are contacted during loading our page. We use Google Fonts to have a unified appearance of our webpage on many systems.
We do link to video material demonstrating our simulation capabilities (mostly on Vimeo), links to collaborators and to our social media presence. In any case these links are classical HTML hyperlinks and no further technology is used to provide these linked contents. We do not have any control about the data these third party website will collect about you as soon as you follow such a link. Generally you can assume that following a linked content from our website results in data collected about you as if you would visit the respective third party website on your own (e.g. Vimeo, Twitter, etc.). It is up to you to decide if you want to follow such a link or not and we can not take responsibility of any linked content to third party websites.
When you choose to contact us via email, we will keep a record of your emails (email address, date sent, content etc.) to provide you with the best possible customer service. We also use this data to analyze the type of services (e.g. simulation types, numerics used, fields of application) our customers request to continuously optimize our key competences and the services we are able to provide. Any such analysis is done at ThetaFrame Solutions and no third party is involved in this process.
We generally do not share your data with any third party. In special collaborative situation we might be required to share your data, however we will request your approval beforehand in writing.
We keep data that we collect about you via email communication (see this policy for details) for up to 7 years. We do this to keep track of our customer base and due to legal record keeping regulations in Austria. Web server logs are deleted automatically after 7 days.
If you wish, you can contact us in writing (email, letter) and request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. Thus you have full control at any point in time should you disagree with our privacy policy. However any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security reasons are excluded from this right to remove your data.
